AIRTEC Motorsport Turbo Radiator for Hyundai i20N
Keep your Hyundai i20N performing at its best with the AIRTEC Motorsport Turbo Radiator. This direct-fit upgrade improves cooling for the water-cooled turbo, helping to reduce heat soak and keep power consistent on fast road and track days.
What it does
The i20N’s turbocharger is cooled by engine coolant. Under hard use, heat builds up in this circuit. The AIRTEC Turbo Radiator adds a high-efficiency auxiliary radiator to shed that heat faster. Lower turbo temperatures help the ECU keep target boost for longer, reduce the chance of power fade, and support long-term turbo reliability.
Why it matters
Repeated pulls, hot weather, or time on track can push temperatures up. When things get too hot, the ECU reduces power to protect the engine and turbo. By improving cooling capacity, this upgrade helps maintain stable performance and quicker recovery between runs. It also reduces thermal stress on turbo bearings and seals.
- Improves cooling capacity in the turbo coolant circuit
- Helps reduce heat soak during repeated hard driving
- Supports consistent boost and throttle response
- All-aluminium, high-density core for efficient heat transfer
- Direct-fit design that works with the stock intercooler and main radiator
- Durable construction for fast road and track use
Design and build
AIRTEC uses an all-aluminium, high-efficiency core with robust end tanks to maximise surface area and airflow. The package is designed to fit neatly behind the bumper, using suitable mounting points, without the need for cutting. It integrates with the factory cooling system and is compatible with both standard and uprated intercoolers.
What to expect
This is a thermal management upgrade. It does not add peak horsepower on its own. Instead, it helps your i20N hold onto its performance for longer when driven hard and can shorten cool-down times between runs.
Fitment
Designed for Hyundai i20N 1.6 T-GDi models (2021-on). For full details, please use the site’s vehicle lookup to confirm fitment or check the Vehicle Fitment tab.
Installation
Fitting requires draining and refilling the cooling system. Allow time to bleed the system properly after installation.
Important: Always check coolant level and for leaks after the first heat cycle. If you are not confident with cooling system work, professional installation is recommended.
