AIRTEC Motorsport Intercooler for Abarth 595 (AUTO)
The AIRTEC Motorsport Intercooler is a great addition to any standard or re-mapped Abarth 595 (AUTO). It features 50mm pipe-work into the turbo and 60mm out of the turbo, which helps match the throttle body and provides fast turbo spool up and maximum power output. This intercooler is specifically designed to fit with the automatic gearbox and is compatible with Abarth models equipped with the Garrett GTI446 Turbo.
The AIRTEC part number for this intercooler is ATINTFT3/AUTO. It replaces the restrictive twin intercooler setup and lengthy pipe-work with Airtec’s high flow 60mm core intercooler and shortened alloy pipe kit. The combination of 50mm pipe-work into the turbo and 60mm out of the turbo ensures fast turbo spool up and maximum power output.
Here are the dyno test results taken from a Fiat 500 Abarth Auto with standard map, intercooler, and exhaust:
- Run 1: 75 degrees into the intercooler and 40 degrees out of the intercooler – 168 BHP
- Run 2: 73 degrees into the intercooler and 42 degrees out of the intercooler – 166 BHP
And here are the dyno test results taken from a Fiat 500 Abarth Auto with Airtec FMIC and Miltek turbo back:
- Run 1: 64 degrees into the intercooler and 19 degrees out of the intercooler
- Run 2: 67 degrees into the intercooler and 20 degrees out of the intercooler
- Run 3: 69 degrees into the intercooler and 21 degrees out of the intercooler
