EBC Yellowstuff™ Brake Pads

The EBC Yellowstuff 3068 compound, the top-selling pad grade as of 2021, is tailored for intense stopping power in fast-paced street driving, ideal for modern sedans and hot hatchbacks. This pad is fully R90 certified for road use.

It's a high-friction pad effective right from the start and features a special break-in surface coating that aids in quick self-seating post-installation. While the Yellow grade is suitable for short-duration track events, trackday sessions (lapping), and drifting in lighter vehicles, it requires a longer bedding-in period. If track driving is a primary use, consider the Bluestuff series or the newer RP1 and RPX ranges, or allocate additional time for brake bedding.

On the street, this bedding-in process occurs naturally within the first 100-200 miles of urban driving. However, for track enthusiasts who prefer to arrive with new pads, EBC recommends the Bluestuff formulation for both front and rear track day driving.
