The Link Pipe Set w Cat (SS) was meticulously tested and developed alongside the Slip-On Line (Titanium) system to offer enhanced performance and sound. Made from high-quality stainless steel, this optional upgrade boosts both the exhaust sound and the overall power output of the system. Fitted with sports catalytic converters, the link pipes improve the exhaust gas flow, which in turn optimizes the engine’s performance and creates a more thrilling auditory experience for drivers and passengers alike.
By enhancing the system with these link pipes, the Porsche 911 benefits from improved power, greater exhaust flow, and an overall heightened driving experience. However, the installation of these aftermarket link pipes – with either sports catalytic converters or without any converters – is designed specifically for closed tracks.
ECU remapping is mandatory when installing these link pipes to avoid potential “check engine light” warnings and ensure the system functions at its peak. The product is tailored for racing and track applications only and does not comply with street or highway emission standards.

Akrapovič provides a comprehensive warranty for its exhaust systems, ensuring that customers receive products of the highest quality and reliability. Due to extensive quality testing and rigorous manufacturing standards, warranty claims are rare, reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship and durability of Akrapovič products.
- Material and Manufacturing Defects: Akrapovič exhaust systems are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. The warranty typically covers the replacement of defective parts.
- Duration: The standard warranty period for Akrapovič exhaust systems is 2 years transferable from the date of installation, although this may vary depending on the type of product and specific regional terms and conditions.
- Limitations: The warranty does not extend to damages resulting from normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper installation, or modifications. Moreover, the warranty may be void if the product was not installed by an authorized Akrapovič dealer or technician.

What do our stock statuses mean?
1+ IN STOCK in green stock is readily available in one of our warehouses for express delivery (at the time of viewing).
LOW STOCK in green means we're running low! 1 or 2 left on the shelf so act fast. Over evenings, weekends and bank holidays this stock can move quickly so please bear this in mind.
0 IN STOCK in blue means our primary warehouse does not have unallocated stock, but our UK partners do. Often these can be shipped quickly and efficiently. You'll be notified via the Track My Order page if further delays are unavoidable.
MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.
0 IN STOCK in orange means everybody we work with is unfortunately out of stock. Stock is not available in the UK. The best course of action is to place an order to create an allocation from the next batch arriving.
OUT OF STOCK in red. This product is unavailable to order, for whatever reason we're unable to obtain stock or there is an issue with supply/lead times.

Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
