VAGSport VW Mk7/7.5 Golf ‘R’ Res Delete Pipe 2012-2018 (Non-GPF)
This kit replaces the standard centre resonator in the exhaust system which usually reduces exhaust notes by filtering the flow, causing a turbulent air flow. By removing it and replacing it with one of our kits you can increase your exhaust flow to enhance the exhaust note and increase performance.
Quite simply our kits are designed for the person who wants an increase in performance and sound without the cost involved with a full replacement exhaust system. With the incredible flexibility of restoring the car to its original state with no lasting changes, removing the need to void any warranties or agreements.

Please note, this kit is not suitable for 2019+ R’s with a PPF/GPF emissions system fitted (There is no central resonator to delete!)

- Our kit immediately opens out from the 65mm front pipe to 70mm, this immediate increase allows for higher flow, a deeper more sporty exhaust tone and enhances the pops and bags associated with the DSG gear change.
- The Tube is 1 single piece high grade 304 Stainless steel piece tube. It is CNC mandrel bent for precision fit this also means the smoothest and highest capacity flow possible. The hanger is TIG welded again from the highest quality 304 stainless steel.
- Our kit is designed to be reversible and includes everything you need not only to fit the kit but also to put it back to stock should you need to.
- Beautiful brushed finish, yes we know it’s only a resonator delete kit but in our opinion, any part for your car should be well manufactured and well finished and shows the manufacturer cares about the product they are producing.
- So why don’t other kits do this? Quite simply – COST. It is cheaper to manufacture a kit out of smaller diameter pipe. Moreover, there being limited places with the capability to mandrel bend 70mm pipe into our intricate design. That is why you will never see the kinks or thinning of the pipe on the bends on our kits. This also means our kits are suitable for stage 2 and 3 software when accompanied by other supporting hardware.

Warranty Periods by Product Line
Each Vagsport product line carries a specific warranty period, detailed below:
What The Warranty Covers:
Our warranties generally cover manufacturing faults and material defects that arise under normal use and conditions. For products with a "Lifetime" warranty, this specifically pertains to the intended lifespan of the product against such defects. For Billet Subframe Inserts, this extends to functional failure not caused by external factors or improper use.
This warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
What The Warranty Does NOT Cover
This Vagsport warranty does not cover:
- Damage from Incorrect Installation: Vagsport performance parts require professional installation by qualified technicians. Damage caused during fitting or by incorrect, incomplete, or unprofessional installation is not covered.
- Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear on components, especially consumable items like air filter elements within VSR Intakes, is not covered unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., for "lifetime against defects" on certain parts where the defect itself causes abnormal wear).
- Misuse, Abuse, or Neglect: Damage resulting from racing, off-road use (unless specifically designed and advertised for it), accidents, impacts, overloading, improper maintenance, or any use outside the intended purpose of the product.
- Alterations or Modifications: Any unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs to the product.
- Consequential or Incidental Damages: Vagsport is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of use, vehicle damage, labour costs for installation/removal) arising from the failure of a Vagsport part. Our liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product as determined by Vagsport.
- Environmental Factors: Damage caused by road hazards, extreme environmental conditions, chemical exposure, or acts of nature.
- Cosmetic Damage: Minor cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the product's functionality or structural integrity.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your Vagsport product has a defect covered by this warranty:
- Contact Progressive Parts Customer Service: Reach out to our support team at [email protected] with details of the issue. Provide your order number, date of purchase, and a description of the problem.
- Provide Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (e.g., original sales receipt, invoice, order confirmation) from an authorized Vagsport dealer or directly from Vagsport is required.
- Product Return: Vagsport may request that you return the product for inspection. Shipping costs for returning the product for warranty assessment are the responsibility of the purchaser.
- Assessment and Resolution: Upon receiving and inspecting the product, Vagsport will determine if the issue is covered under the applicable warranty. If a valid claim is established, Vagsport will, at its sole discretion, either:
- Repair the defective product.
- Replace the defective product with an equivalent new or refurbished product.

Stock at Progressive Parts
Delivery timescales are given as estimates in good faith, but cannot be taken as precise or exact information. We highly advise against booking installation/workshop time or engaging in preparatory work until you've received and inspected the goods.
What do our stock statuses mean?
1+ IN STOCK in green stock is readily available in one of our warehouses for express delivery (at the time of viewing).
LOW STOCK in green means we're running low! 1 or 2 left on the shelf so act fast. Over evenings, weekends and bank holidays this stock can move quickly so please bear this in mind.
0 IN STOCK in blue means our primary warehouse does not have unallocated stock, but our UK partners do. Often these can be shipped quickly and efficiently. You'll be notified via the Track My Order page if further delays are unavoidable.
MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.
0 IN STOCK in orange means everybody we work with is unfortunately out of stock. Stock is not available in the UK. The best course of action is to place an order to create an allocation from the next batch arriving.
OUT OF STOCK in red. This product is unavailable to order, for whatever reason we're unable to obtain stock or there is an issue with supply/lead times.
