The Eventuri carbon fibre intake system for the Porsche 991 Turbo and Turbo S replaces the restrictive single airbox with two individual, patented Venturi filter housings – one feeding each turbo. The result is smoother airflow, lower intake air temperatures and improved turbo response, all wrapped in beautifully finished carbon fibre that suits the engine bay perfectly.

How It Improves the Car

The standard 911 Turbo airbox forces both turbos to draw from a single panel filter, which creates drag in the airflow path. By giving each turbo its own dedicated filter housing, Eventuri allows the turbos to spool more efficiently. With less restriction, the wastegates work less to control boost, meaning peak boost is reached earlier in the rev range and throttle response feels sharper.

The two filters also provide a much larger total filtration area than the stock panel filter. To keep intake air temperatures (IATs) down in the densely packed engine bay, the Venturi housings are fully sealed against a carbon fibre air duct that draws ambient air from the same location as the original system. Keeping the intake fully sealed is essential on the 991 Turbo – any open filter setup quickly suffers from heat soak.

Patented Venturi Technology

Eventuri’s patented housings gradually reduce in cross sectional area as they shroud the reverse mounted filters and taper into the stock turbo inlet tubes. This shape invokes the Venturi effect, where airflow accelerates while remaining smooth and laminar (steady, non turbulent flow). Think of it as a large velocity stack feeding each turbo. The bespoke generation 2 filters are designed to work with this geometry, producing an even velocity profile as air exits the housing.

Build Quality and Fitment

Each component is engineered for a specific purpose and finished to a very high standard. The brackets are laser cut from stainless steel and powder coated, with shaped cutouts that reduce weight while keeping the structure rigid. They use the original airbox mounting points for a precise, factory-like fit and also retain the mounting positions for engine components that were secured to the stock airbox.
