The Rieger front spoiler lip is designed to give your Seat Leon (5F) FR pre-facelift a sharper, lower and more aggressive front look. It sits beneath the original front bumper to create a sportier appearance while helping to tidy airflow under the car.
What This Front Spoiler Lip Does
This front spoiler lip fits to the bottom edge of the standard FR front bumper. Once fitted, it gives the car a slightly lower stance and a wider, more planted look without major bodywork changes.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
