Triple R Composites Ford Focus MK2.5 ST225 Rear Finned Diffuser
Give the rear of your Ford Focus MK2.5 ST225 a sharper, more aggressive look with this finned rear diffuser panel. The bold fins break up the flat bumper line and add a focused, performance style similar to track cars.
A diffuser is a panel that shapes the airflow under the back of the car. The fins help guide the air as it leaves the underside of the car, which can reduce turbulence. On a fast road Focus, this is mainly a styling upgrade, but the cleaner airflow can also support other aerodynamic parts.
- Designed specifically for Ford Focus MK2.5 ST225 models (2008-2011)
- Striking finned design for a more aggressive rear end
- Direct replacement for the factory rear diffuser
- Fibreglass construction for a strong yet light panel
- Supplied in gloss black gel coat for a high shine finish
Material and finish
This diffuser is manufactured from fibreglass, which is light, rigid and widely used in motorsport bodywork. It is supplied in a gloss black gel coat as pictured. This looks good out of the box, but for the best, deepest gloss and long term durability we recommend having the diffuser prepared and painted gloss black by a bodyshop.
Fitment and compatibility
Fits Ford Focus MK2.5 ST225 models from 2008 to 2011. It replaces the original rear diffuser panel and uses the two original fixings along with integrated clips to secure it to the bumper.

Fitting guidance
This is a replacement part that requires the removal of the OEM diffuser. Fitment uses the original fixings and the moulded clips on the new panel.
Some trimming and sanding may be required to achieve the best fit. Take your time with trial fitting before final installation.
Key steps for installation:
1 – Sand the diffuser clips down to a maximum thickness of around 4 mm so they can slide into the bumper slots more easily.
2 – Spray a light lubricant such as WD40 on the clip areas on the car’s bumper to help the clips slide in.
3 – Use a blunt screwdriver or similar tool to gently open up the bumper clip holes so the new clips can seat properly.
4 – Around the bumper where the diffuser return sits, carefully remove any small raised plastic sections so the diffuser can sit flat.
5 – Start clipping the diffuser in from one side. It will get tighter as more clips engage, which is normal. In the tighter areas, push from behind the bumper with one hand while pushing the diffuser in from the front with the other.
6 – If clips are not lining up, lift the diffuser slightly while pushing in. Work across the top section, repeating the process until all clips are fully engaged.
As more clips snap into place, the diffuser will pull into the correct position and the final clips will go in more easily.
