The Racingline Software PDM Bundle is specifically designed for the EA888.3 engine fitted with the IS20 Turbo found in the Octavia VRS. This bundle provides an excellent way to boost your vehicle’s performance while keeping reliability intact. It adjusts essential settings to optimise your engine’s output, enhancing your overall driving experience.

What the PDM Bundle Does

This bundle includes a home tuning device and software that enhance engine mapping and boost control. By fine-tuning these parameters, you can expect a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque.

What’s Required?

• A Windows 10/11 Laptop with USB & Power Supply
• Secure wired (or very stable Wifi) high-speed broadband internet.
• Vehicle Battery Charging Support (20AMP minimum) CTEK brand recommended
• Available mains electricity for the above.

Considerations

While this upgrade can lead to significant performance improvements, please keep the following factors in mind:

• Clutch: If your vehicle has a manual transmission, we recommend upgrading your clutch before tuning, as the increase in torque may exceed the stock clutch’s capabilities.
• TCU Software: For vehicles with DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox), consider pairing with the ECU+TCU software bundle. This ensures smooth gear changes and manages the additional torque effectively.
• Fuel Grade: The performance figures provided are based on using 99RON fuel. If 99RON is not accessible, 95RON files are available, though the peak figures will be slightly lower. Note: do not use 95RON fuel if your vehicle is tuned for 99RON.

Don’t forget, once you purchase Racingline software, the upgrade from Stage 1 to Stage 2 is free!

This provides you with an upgrade path for Stage 2 tuning; further hardware upgrades will be necessary, alongside transmission or TCU improvements. Required components include:

• Performance Air Intake and Turbo Inlet Elbow
• Performance Intercooler
• Performance Downpipe
