Built for endurance racing, PAGID RSL 1E delivers strong, repeatable stopping power over long stints. It offers a firm initial bite, very stable friction, and excellent fade resistance under sustained high temperatures. Expect long pad life and low disc wear compared with many sprint compounds.

Compound behaviour
RSL 1E works best when hot, as seen in track and endurance conditions. It beds in quickly and maintains torque as temperatures rise. On the road it may feel harsh when cold, can make noise, and may create dust. It is not designed for everyday driving.
Track use only. Not ECE R90 approved for public road use.

MADE TO ORDER in blue means we've partnered with a supplier which primarily makes their products to order. It's not on our shelf, but your order goes into production immediately.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
