PAGID RSL 29 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 4928) S4928R29001
The PAGID RSL 29 is a proven endurance racing compound. It gives strong, consistent stopping power over long stints, with very low fade. It is kind to discs and offers excellent pad life. Pedal feel is stable and easy to modulate, even at high temperatures.
Use it for endurance racing, club motorsport and demanding track days. It suits heavier, high-performance cars and GT/touring applications. Cold performance is usable, but it works best when hot.
Race use only. Not recommended for regular road use.

Bed-in guidance
Bring the pads up to temperature with several medium stops. Avoid holding the car stationary with hot brakes. Let the brakes cool fully before heavy use. Proper bed-in improves feel, consistency and life.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
