PAGID RSL 29 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 1896) E189629010
Built for endurance racing and serious track days. The RSL 29 compound gives stable, repeatable braking over long stints, with excellent control and very high fade resistance. It works well with ABS and gives smooth pedal feel, lap after lap.

Compound suitability
RSL 29 is ideal for endurance racing, club motorsport and heavy track use. It suits GT, touring, and high performance road-derived cars that see repeated hard braking. Cold bite is decent, but it performs best once warmed on track.
Note: Racing pads can be noisy and dusty, and may increase disc wear. Proper bedding-in is essential. Intended for track use – check local regulations for road legality.

Bedding-in guidance
Bring pads up to temperature with several medium stops. Follow with a series of firm stops without activating ABS. Allow to cool fully before maximum effort use. This helps prevent judder and ensures consistent performance.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
