PAGID RSH 42 Racing Brake Pad (Shape 1362) S1362H42001
Built for consistent, confidence-inspiring braking in historic and club motorsport. RSH 42 gives strong initial bite, stable friction, and good modulation, so you can brake late and control the car through the stop. It works from relatively low pad temperatures and holds performance well as heat builds, making it ideal for sprint races, tarmac rally, and fast track sessions in lighter to medium-weight cars.
RSH 42 is known for being disc-friendly compared to many race compounds. It beds in quickly and resists fade when worked hard. Expect firm pedal feel, predictable response, and reliable repeat stops.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
