The PAGID RST 3 is a sprint-focused racing compound designed for stable, repeatable braking with strong initial bite. It gives confident pedal feel, easy modulation, and consistent performance lap after lap. Ideal for short to medium races, rally tarmac, GT and Touring applications, club racing, and serious track days.
RST 3 offers quick warm-up and remains stable at sustained high temperatures. It delivers firm deceleration without being overly harsh on discs, helping manage wear across a race weekend. Often paired with a higher-bite front compound, but also effective as a balanced setup on both axles depending on car and driving style.
Motorsport use only – not intended for road use.

In the words of the Vehicle Standards Agency (VCA), type approval provides "confirmation that production and samples of a design will meet specified performance standards".
For emissions components this encompasses noise, emissions and balanced back pressure, which have a strong influence on maintaining engine performance (power), and fuel efficiency. Type approval ensures that an aftermarket component will reach, or exceed the performance standard of the corresponding OE part.
Type-approval then, is a certain guarantee that an end user will receive a product of OE equivalent performance attributes.
