ONLINE SHOP: OPERATIONAL
Average order processing time is still currently 2-3 days and dispatch is running daily. ‘Tracking requests’ made for a new order less than 72 hours old are currently being discarded to continue processing orders in a timely manner, we appreciate your understanding.
If products are out of stock or require a longer than usual wait, you will be informed by email as quickly as possible regarding possible timescales, alternatives, refunds or other options available.
The website (containing over 25,000 SKUs) does not currently maintain second by second live stock feeds from all suppliers.
DPD, Parcelforce, Fed Ex or UPS services are currently still running at full capacity, however, delays to overseas destinations may also be experienced depending on customs/border controls in place. Delivery to France, Italy and Spain are currently heavily delayed and in some cases unavailable.
Our workshop is currently operating without full diagnostics. Currently average booking time is 1-2 weeks while we catch up with the backlog. Please note, there is no access to reception/showroom/waiting areas. All appointments booked require the vehicle to be dropped off in the morning and left in the care of our team for the day.
Our drop off procedures included a contact-less procedure of dropping the keys off and collecting the vehicle without coming into contact with any staff. For more details please contact us directly.
We still ask that if you have an appointment booked but show symptoms that suggest self-isolation is advised (following gov.uk advice), please contact us directly so we can either re-arrange or postpone your booking.
As we’re sure you’ve seen quite a few statements from the government and other businesses by now so we’ll keep ours brief.
Due to the unforeseen circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak and the affects it’s having on our population, we are temporarily closing our workshop/showroom doors to the public. The goal here is to protect you, our staff and their families, and ultimately do our part in preventing the spread of this contagion.
Despite garages currently being permitted to operate through this crisis, we’ve made the moral decision unaffected by commercial pressures to wind down activities to protect everyone involved and reduce unnecessary travel. Our directors (Mark & I) will be available to our ‘key worker’ customers via our mobiles should you need emergency repairs or be stranded and unable to continue assisting the nation.

…offer advice, stave off boredom and support our customers old & new where possible. Although we’re a well-stocked and efficient business (in theory 😆) there will be disruptions to our internal processes where various suppliers and channels are closed to us, so we appreciate your patience on all fronts. Certain couriers may not be guaranteeing 24 hour delivery services which is perfectly understandable given the situation.
To re-iterate, our online store is remaining open until further notice, you will be notified of any delays, customer service notices or special offers by email.

As the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation continues to develop, we at Progressive Parts would like to announce our internal plans which are in place with immediate effect.
Following the guidance and instructions from both the government and the World Health Organisation, we are taking internal measures to ensure our staff, customers and dealers are safe. Progressive Parts continues to operate normally for now, however a number of planned automotive events we were due to attend are cancelled. Excluding pre-existing bookings (subject to drop-off procedures), we advise customers to refrain from visiting Progressive Parts where possible and seek alternative communication methods such as social media/email and telephones.
Internally, our customer services, buying, dispatch and business management teams will continue to heed the government advice in order to continue operating. Some of our staff will continue to work off-site and provide support/information where possible, these extra measures may cause small delays finding normally routine information like order updates and stock levels. We continue to improve systems allowing more access for remote workers.
Until further updates are provided, we’ll continue to make use of several courier services available to us. Please note, we’ve been advised of possible delays to European and global markets.
As a company we will be fully co-operative and proactive in tackling the outbreak of COVID-19 and would like to actively advise everyone to follow government guidelines until further notice, we wish that all of our partners and customers stay safe and well.
